Our Health and Safety department has grown rapidly in recent times, partly due to the increase in work around the Building Safety Act regulations. The team now has 27 members who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety around the developments that we manage.

Joe Leggett and Toyosi Mohammed have both recently joined the team as Senior Building Safety Co-ordinators working on building safety cases. Here we find out a bit more about their roles and how they got into working in the building safety sector.

Ahead of National Graduate Week, we have spoken to some of our 2024 graduate intake to see how they have found their first couple of months on the Graduate Property Manager programme. Having recently started in September, Michael Bucknor, Danielle Okuwobi and Nancy Evans, sharing their experiences with us.

Earlier this summer I took a sabbatical, away from my role as Head of Bespoke New Business at Rendall & Rittner, to spend five weeks exploring Marrakech and Australia. The opportunity to take a sabbatical is a great incentive for long-serving Rendall & Rittner employees to enjoy an extended time away to focus on your wellbeing, do something a little bit different and return to work fully refreshed.

We are delighted to have been presented with two prestigious awards at this year’s ACE Awards: ‘Managing Agent of the Year (15,001+ units)’ and ‘Resident Engagement Initiative’. This is the 5th time we have received the Managing Agent of the Year award in the 6 years they've been running. This success follows our recent Property Manager of the Year award win at the RESI awards, meaning we currently hold the two leading awards in our sector.
