Once again, the Rendall & Rittner Great Ormond Street Hospital Appeal has been a great success. The 2019 collection saw a total of £15,500 worth of toys donated as part of the toy appeal, giving to poorly children who would not be home in time for Christmas. Residents and staff across Rendall & Rittner’s managed London developments donated an array of toys and electrics including: a PlayStation; Android™ tablets; large size Batman action figures; superhero costumes and Star Trek Lego® ships.
Taking on the role of Father Christmas, was Operations team member, Carlos Ornelas, with Head of Operations, Andrew Morgan, dressed as Head Elf and Esther Garcia Sanchez, Estate Operations Manager, dressed as Mrs Claus. The team toured the developments in a decorated vehicle to pick up donations and deliver them to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Richard Daver, Director at Rendall & Rittner comments: “We would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone that donated this year – our residents and staff have been very generous. Great Ormond Street Hospital is a charity that Rendall & Rittner has supported for several years and the Christmas collection is very important to us, helping to bring happiness to children in the hospital who may not be able to spend Christmas at home.”
