Charity is very important to us at Rendall & Rittner. We continuously support Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Stroke Association, raising funds for their respective causes every year. Our people also elect a charity that we support for a period of three years. Having recently closed nominations for our new employee-chosen charity, we are delighted to announce that we are now supporting Cancer Research UK.
The aim of Cancer Research is simple – to beat cancer as soon as possible. By 2034, the charity hopes that its work will help ensure that 3 in every 4 people with a cancer diagnosis will survive. The money that we raise will help fund world-class research projects, as well as helping the charity provide information about cancer to the public.
To kick off our fundraising, we are running a Fantasy Football League. With £5 entry and great prizes on offer, members of the Rendall & Rittner team will be channelling their inner Gareth Southgate to see who can create the greatest football team and take home the top prize.
Teams from Rendall & Rittner have also recently participated in our Race for Life event, which was held on the 19th August. Setting out from several of our offices, teams competed to run or walk 5 kilometres in the fastest time. Participants were able to raise a huge amount of sponsorship, and this event really helped boost our fundraising pot.
We are eager to support all our charities including Cancer Research UK through continued fundraising efforts and are looking forward to our future fundraising competitions, events and challenges.
