Rendall and Rittner receives RoSPA award and holds annual health & safety week
We are delighted to announce that we were recently awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the RoSPA category for our sector, recognising our health and safety performance during 2020. This is the latest in a series of awards that we have received from RoSPA over the past four years.
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
Last week we ran our annual company-wide Virtual Health & Safety Week to provide a focus for engaging with staff, contractors, and residents about everything to do with safety.
We have been hosting a wide range of sessions during the week with a packed itinerary (as shown below) for over 1,000 employees who signed up for the events. The activities that we have been running included a presentation on Fire Safety from Ark Workplace Risk; a session with RoSPA on managing leisure facilities such as gyms and pools; and a Q&A with Delphis Eco, the company that supplies our sustainable cleaning products.
The internal Health & Safety team have been hosting events on compliance and auditing and we also ran a session which all of our contractors were invited to participate in.
