Over 2,500 trees planted through our tree pledge

Our recent donation to the Woodland Trust has funded the planting of 2,571 new trees. Back in December 2020, we pledged to give £1 to a tree planting initiative for every leaseholder who signed up to our e-communications platform.

We also chose to send e-cards at Christmas and donated the money we had saved to the tree planting scheme. In 2021, our total donation to the Woodland Trust for the year was £18,000.

The Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity in the United Kingdom and its ‘Emergency Tree Fund’ is working with local authorities and communities to plant trees and establish green spaces across the country. This is a key part of the charity’s ambitious aim to establish 50 million more trees by 2025 to help tackle both the nature and climate crises.

We are committed to continuing our support of the Woodland Trust and its vital work. We will donate £1 to the tree fund for every person registering on our online platform, and seven new sign-ups will support the planting of one new tree. We are promoting this with all leaseholders in order to encourage more to make the green switch.
