We are pleased to announce that we have retained the British Safety Council’s highest accreditation, the Five Star award, for the fourth consecutive year, as well as our ISO 45001 accreditation.
The British Safety Council audit is the most comprehensive and detailed occupational health and safety standard available, assessing a company’s performance against 56 key safety management indicators, with only those scoring 92% or above securing the coveted five-star rating. Assessed simultaneously, the ISO 45001 accreditation is an international standard for occupational health and safety management designed to provide a framework that considers the interaction between an organisation and its business environment. Securing both accreditations demonstrates a commitment to increase safety and wellbeing at work, as well as a focus on continually improving occupational health and safety performance.
With a score of 97.78% in our latest audit, we have built upon our previous score and were praised for continuing to deliver the highest standards of health and safety management. The report stated: “Once again, the organisation has been able to demonstrate excellent processes are in place for the management of health, safety, and wellbeing. There are excellent standards of leadership, and a well-motivated and competent health and safety team.”
Sue Petri, Director at Rendall & Rittner, comments: “Maintaining the highest health and safety standards is key to our business model. Rendall & Rittner is committed to protecting the wellbeing and safety of all our employees, residents, lessees and clients, and this recognition from the British Safety Council and the ISO provides external and independent verification of our dedication to continuous improvement. We would like to thank our staff for all their hard work in ensuring that we continue to operate at a five-star level.”
