With the UK’s existing copper networks for telephone and internet services scheduled for decommission in December 2025, now is the time to upgrade your systems to fibre optic technology!
This is because telecommunication companies are currently being offered government incentives to install the necessary infrastructure into properties, allowing for free fibre installations into developments, often alongside additional perks that add value to the buildings themselves. This offer is unlikely to continue beyond late 2025, when service providers are anticipated to charge for installations, potentially costing tens of thousands of pounds per building.
